How to add followers and tags to a shipment

You can easily manage shipment visibility and organization by adding followers and tags either from the dashboard or via API integration.

From the dashboard, go to My Shipments and click the eye icon to open the shipment details. Under the Extras section, you can manage both options:

  • To add a follower, enter the email address in the Followers field and click the + button to save it.
  • To add a tag, type the relevant keyword in the Tags field and click the + button to assign it.

For API integration, you can also manage these actions programmatically:

The Add Follower to the Shipment endpoint allows you to add a new follower to an existing ocean shipment.

The Add Tag to the Shipment endpoint allows you to assign tags to shipments for better categorization and tracking.
