LCL shipment tracking

Shipsgo allows you to track your LCL shipments with ease. However, due to the nature of LCL shipments, especially during transshipment, there are a few important points to keep in mind:

If your LCL shipment moves directly from POL to POD without any transshipment, it can be tracked normally in the system without any issues. Similarly, if there is a transshipment but the container remains the same throughout the journey, tracking will continue smoothly.

However, if the shipment goes through a transshipment and the container changes at the transshipment port, the system will not be able to continue tracking under the same shipment. In such cases, you will need to create a new tracking request with the updated container details after the transshipment.

ℹ️ Please note that this will be considered a new shipment, and an additional credit will be used.

In short, when there is a container change at the transshipment port, the only way to continue tracking is to create a new shipment in the system with the updated information.
