API Usage & Pricing

Shipsgo uses a credit-based pricing model for API usage. Each tracking request consumes credits based on the action performed.


How credits are used

  • 1 credit is consumed when a new shipment tracking is created via API
  • Tracking requests using Container, MBL, or AWB numbers all consume 1 credit

What does NOT consume credits

  • Retrieving shipment details via GET requests
  • Receiving updates via webhooks
  • Viewing shipments on the dashboard
  • Receiving email notifications

Important notes

  • Credits are consumed only once per tracking creation
  • Repeated GET calls do not consume additional credits
  • Credits are shared across ocean and air shipments
