Credit Usage for MBL/Booking Tracking

Tracking by MBL does not consume more credits than other ocean tracking methods.

In Shipsgo, credit usage is based on the shipment tracking request, not the type of tracking number used. Whether you track a shipment using a Container Number, MBL, or Booking Number, the credit consumption follows the same rule.

The Rule: 1 Tracking Request = 1 Credit

  • 1 Bill of Lading (MBL) tracking request = 1 credit
  • 1 MBL/Booking request (even with 10 containers) = 1 credit
  • 1 Container tracking request = 1 credit

In summary, an MBL or Booking tracking request consumes only 1 credit, even if it includes multiple containers.
