Are event codes based on the DCSA Track & Trace standard ?

No. Shipsgo uses its own standardized event codes and does not return event fields in DCSA format.

Carriers provide shipment milestones in different formats and structures. To ensure consistent tracking across all supported carriers, Shipsgo normalizes this data into a unified event structure. This also allows us to provide standardized tracking data for carriers that do not follow the DCSA standard.

While the event naming may differ from DCSA terminology, the underlying shipment information remains the same, including:

• Milestone/event
• Location
• Timestamp
• Estimated or actual status
